Peth hegseth needs to be prosecuted for war crimes for the Minab school bombing

A U.S. strike on the Menab Girl School. What happened? And why does it matter? A U.S. Tomahawk missile strike had a girls' elementary school in Menab and around on the opening day of the war. Three missiles struck the same site, including follow-up hits on survivors that were sheltering inside. But the debt toll 156 to more than 170, most of those being girls aged between 7 and 12 years old, just 7 and 12 years old. This is U.S. military missiles that were fired in there. The Pentagon had tracked the school by satellite since 1987 and could literally see children in the courtyard out before firing the missiles at the school. It's clearly not a tragic mistake. It's not a tragic mistake. And it raises serious questions about the safeguards and accountability at the highest levels in our collective west. Because this doesn't really, it's not limited to reflecting poorly on the current U.S. administration. This reflects poorly on the West. And if you're like me, if you're in Team West, then well, I think this reflects poorly on you. And I think it reflects poorly on me. This is just extremely poor form. My name is Josephine Gilbert. I'm a former intelligence officer. I spent 17 years in the U.S. Army of held assignments as an intelligence officer at the DIA, the ODNI, NSA and DHS. Given this information, we're going to focus back now to the bombing of Manabh. 165 little girls were killed by United States Tomahawks from a United States vessel in the area of operation. A modern Tomahawk missile is equipped with onboard cameras, real-time targeting imagery. Satellite imagery is constantly collected by several intelligence agencies, several countries, in real-time. Let's talk about what that satellite imagery would show of the Manabh little girls school, murals. The entire school was surrounded by colorful children, painting, flower, bright-colored murals surrounded this school. And it was without a doubt a school if you looked at it through satellite imagery. It was without a doubt a school when you looked at it through the onboard camera of the Tomahawk missile. It was clear. Now let's talk about when the attack started on Iran. 10 a.m. at 10 a.m., Israel, along with the United States began attacking Iran. By 10-20, the staff at Manabh school began evacuating the children. Strike one. Hit the school. The kids moved to the prayer room. Strike two. Hit the prayer room. 163 kids dead. Strike three. Hit nearby. Multiple sources, including intelligence reports, regional sources, and US officials are required to confirm a target for the US Navy and military operations. To ensure accuracy and reduce errors, this is how it works. This is how it worked that day. NBC News reports USS Sproonitz, a guided missile destroyer shot the Tomahawk. Commander Lay R. Tate, executive officer Jeffrey E. York, commanded USS Sproonitz, who shot a Tomahawk and killed 165 little girls. Who are the terrorists? Who are the bad guys in this story? This is the story of our timeline. By our own definition of terrorism, and I can say this as a former counter-terrorist officer, we are the terrorists. What we're going to do here is examine the evidence, the failures, and what it means going forward. So a bit more context before we kick off. So the strike happened on February 28th, 2026. During the ongoing opening up phase of the US-Israeli War on Iran, the target was Sharja Tayeb Elementary School in Menab. Near right next to an IRGC naval base, but separated by a wall. Again, 1987, right? They've footage since they know exactly what was going on here. The school had its very own website, had clear civilian markings, was easily identifiable through open source materials. Anybody could figure this out. Even a bloody knucklehead could figure this out. Our Pentagon's satellite imagery of the site dates back decades, and recent images reportedly showed children, child activity, children, you know, just playing basically kicking balls around in the courtyard. So the US military had systems that are designed to prevent exactly this kind of disaster. But those systems had been heavily defunded and weakened beforehand. And so you can see here that this is a lack of diligence, this is a lack of care. And somebody, honestly, somebody has to be held accountable for a tragedy of this scale. You don't just let this go. I think that's why, you know, you saw tens of millions of people coming out in the streets of Iran. And Iraq actually, in Iraq, protested against. It's seeking revenge because they were seeking revenge to these girls, these children. It was a dumb move, man. It was a seriously dumb move. But let's go into it. So three Toml Hawk missiles were fired from the USS Sprouts, 716 kilometres away in the Arabian Sea. Unbelievable. The first strike hit the school. Witnesses described a second strike hitting the exact same spot where a teacher had moved the surviving students for shelter. Unbelievable. Just the absolute, I mean, this is really, really terrible for us. This is a shitty thing to do, really shitty. A third strike followed on the same side. Unbelievable. Forensic analysis, including 3D reconstructions by groups like Forensic Architecture, FAA, and reporting from Sky News. Sky News are all over this as well. Good on you, Sky News. Absolutely. But I'll always have a crack at Sky News because I think a lot of the stuff they report is pretty bad. But in this case, well done, well done. They've confirmed the sequence and they've confirmed that the US were involved. It was their munitions. It was their mess, the bloods on their hands. The school was clearly civilian. Been wooed off from the adjacent military base since at least 2015. Preliminary US findings point to outdated targeting data, but the long-term tracking of the site is obviously the major cock up. And it's their duty. It's their responsibility. If you've been in the military, you know there's no tolerance for mistakes like this. You have to get it right, especially with targeting packages. I mean, Jesus, you know what's going to happen. You know what's going to happen. So nobody wants this to happen. So yeah, yeah, you probably, I don't think that an individual, you know, analyst, did this. I really don't. I think this is something that goes up the chain. Somebody took a policy decision to withdraw funding or defund, or look the other way, or change the rules of engagement. Let's go and find out who that was. The French Secretary beat Hegsworth and Dan Cain, chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. They're the two men at the top of the US military, prosecuting the Iran War. There is a question for them, and for their ultimate boss, the president that won't go away. It's about the school bombing at Minab in Iran. Sky News has established US responsibility. A security insider has told us that human error was responsible and that Trump denials are undermining transparency in terms of establishing publicly who was behind it. It's a question we at Sky News will continue to ask, and I asked it of Pete Hegsworth and of General Cain. Secretary Hegsworth, are you hiding the truth, sir, over the Minab School bombing? Are you hiding the truth? The ripple effects, failures and accountability. So, Defence Secretary Pete Hegsworth had slashed the civilian protection centre of excellence, workforce by roughly 90 per cent, and CART CENTCOM's civilian casualty assessment team from 10 people to one. One tenth of the team. A May, a Pentagon inspector general report, found that the office had become a shell with no real budget and no real mandate. A full month later, no full public investigation has been released. What do you expect? When asked about the consequences, Trump called it a strange question. That's a strange question, and said, hey, mistakes, happenin' war. They do, but not to this degree. I mean, stuff happens, of course. There's a grey area. But this is not that. This is not that. The scale of murder. I mean, what else do you call it, right? You call this murder. Well, there you go. There's a train, train agrees with me. So, yeah, and this is absolutely despicable from the West. This is the West that's actually done this. An our name, this is happened. Democrats, you bloody useless arseholes. The Democrats have been relatively quiet on calling for criminal charges. Where are you, Democrats? Like, they're all over. Oh, you know, there's not another, but they won't actually call out their own corrupt and incompetent military and government. That's what's happening here. The Democrats are useless. They are worse than my view. They are worse than the other side. Oh, bloody terrible. The ICC, let's have a look. The ICC, International Criminal Court, could theoretically investigate. But, I mean, good luck enforcing against the US. Pretty bloody impossible. The US doesn't recognize them. The US basically said the ICC can get stuffed when they're not even getting involved in the ICC. They'll probably sanction the ICC and anybody involved in it. Because they don't want to be held to account. So this is the best way of doing it. Just, you know, get rid of that court because that court might come after us. So, yeah. So the private sector and military bureaucracy had already weakened the very systems that are meant to catch mistakes like this. Mistakes, I don't know if we should just call it a mistake. I think we should just call it what it is. It's just murder. You know, it's at least manslaughter. You know, the degree of murder we can debate that. But these are 170 young kids. Just unbelievable. I know wonder. No wonder the Middle East is just screaming at full revenge. And I've got to say, I mean, you know, this is going to have long term consequences. This story here is going to have, I mean, I don't know about you. If you travel like, like we do, you'll end up going through the Middle East. It's a hub, massive hub. And it's just super convenient to go through the Middle East. So, now you're going to start to think twice about that. It's got a massive impact on Qatar, and on Dubai, and Abu Dhabi, and that whole area is now like, why would you go there given what's happened and just the hatred for people who look Western? You know, if you look Western, you probably are Western, and you're associated with all this crap that's just happened here at Meenab School. So, yeah, so a horrible tragedy, but much more than that, basically, in my view, it's murder, long-term satellite tracking, and the defunding of civilian protection mechanisms, except these, obviously, he's at the top of this pile, so accountability has been bugger-roll, they've done nothing. Somebody needs to get their ass kicked, and somebody needs to go to jail, in my, in my opinion, too. Yeah, you can't just let this happen. We can't, we can't let this happen. We can't just let these things pass because there will be consequences. One is the moral consequence, because we are morally now just in a horrible place, and that has to be addressed. You can't just let that sit, otherwise we end up carrying it full. So, no, I mean, the US have to hold somebody to account in the most serious way, in the most serious way. Yeah, so without reform, I mean, this ends up being on our ledger, on our side of the ledger. It's a disgraceful situation. Good on sky news for picking this up and running with it. More police, more of that please. But come on, you know, Democrats and Republicans, you know what you've got to do. This guy's got to go to jail, and forever, I mean, you've got to lock him up for life, he's got to do a multiple life. A life sentence for every one of those girls whose lives were just keylessly taken like that. I think there's no excuse for that. There's absolutely no excuse. I think the analyst saw, not the analyst, but there's a chain of command underneath that should have put back. They've really got to be held to account. You cannot just sit there silently, when you know that what's happening is wrong. You know, you can always resign. It's not a difficult thing to do. If you disagree with what's happening, you can resign. Somebody pulled the trigger on this. Somebody knew that strike package was bad, so there are a lot of questions. Somebody should be, you know, it's just, I'm just gone on YouTube. But there should be senators, there should be Congress people, there should be, you know, officials, and there should be the opposition, where are you opposition? This is disgraceful. The media as well. Well down sky, where the rest of you? Where are you? Get off your asses and do some work, you know? Pull finger, Jesus. That's your job, your one job, and it's to hold these criminals to account. They're not all criminals, but this one clearly. There's some really good people. There's some really good people in the Trump administration, but there's bad eggs like this, and you just got to pull them out, and you got to hold them to account, because that is an absolute terrible situation. It is a terrible situation, and mark my words. This will come back to haunt us collectively. You know, you don't just do this. If you know anything about Persia, you don't just do this. It ain't happening in that way. It doesn't work that way. There will be a price, and it will be paid. I can guarantee you. So, yeah, awful situation, team. Absolutely awful.
