BBC Exposed: 2014 Ukraine Far-Right Warning Ignored

The BBC's 2014 warning on Ukraine's far-right problem and the West's later hypocrisy. The BBC, yeah, BBC, they had a put out of warning back in 2014. If you go and have a look at this, I'll see if I can find it, shove it up on the screen. In March 2014, shortly after the Mid-Arne revolution in Ukraine, the BBC published an article titled, quote, Ukraine's revolution and the far-right, unquote, the peace directly addressed the presence and influence. We've gone back a long time, right? Back to 2014. Back to the Mid-Arne debacle that kicked off a whole bloody Ukraine's stupidity. The peace directly addressed the presence and influence of ultra-nationalists and far-right. These are the ones that, you know, they've adopted, they've preserved the philosophy of the little moustache man from World War II, you know, the one that, yeah, let's leave all that, but I can't say his name on YouTube. You know what I'm talking about. Basically, that's what this BBC article is all about. Are you a Nazi? No, I don't think I'm a Nazi. I'm a Ukrainian nationalist. What does that mean? The main confrontation is about that some ethnic groups have control, many business structures, some economic, some political forces, and... Rechefnik groups. Russians and Jews and the powers. Maybe some non-Ukrainian's group control a huge percent of some economic or political power. It's specifically highlighted Stefan Banderra, the wartime leader of the OUN, the organization of Ukrainian nationalists, and Ukrainian insurgent army, the UPA, the BBC noted that Banderra had collaborated with the NAZIs at one stage and that groups under his influence committed atrocities against the Poles put a pin in that. We'll come back to it to the Jews and to Russians and another pin and others during World War II. So again, this is all in World War II. The Banderra group and they collaborated with Moustache Man and they did despicable things. So that's the backdrop. I don't think that's any of that as disputable. I think that's a matter of record. It also covered groups like Wright sector, capital R, capital S, and verboda warning about their radical influence. I want the BBC highlighted. Let's have a look at that. Mr Karas says his group consists of around 200 men. C-14 is affiliated with a political party called Swaboda or Freedom, which now controls four ministries in the new government, including the Ministry of Defence. Two of its MPs were recently photographed brandishing well known far-right numerology, 86 stands for the eighth letter of the alphabet H H Heil Hitler. This is really important because it shows the utter hypocrisy because back in 2014 the BBC was saying watch out. Watch out. These guys are basically in US and yet to from 2022, 2023, 2020, February 2022 and probably過 that. They were over there, trumpeting this regime. This regime, though, is saying, oh, look, we've got to back them. We've got to back the regime and all that sort of carry on. So I'm highlighting the hypocrisy of the UK establishment by proxy to BBC. The BBC is the mouthpiece is the propaganda arm in my humble opinion team of the United Kingdom. That is the way that they get there. It's one of the most effective ways they get messaging out there. They drop it onto something called BBC International, the BBC World Service, and then all around the world, including New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Canada, the US. It's all sighted, picked up and repeated because the BBC is deemed to be a publication of the highest order. It is like a paper of record, so it's really amplified. And that's why I'm pointing this out. Back in 2014, they were saying, watch out, guys. This is bad. And now they're like, nothing, nothing to see here. You're fine, carry on. So that's that bloody hypocrisy that we're seeing here. So let's go into the story. This article, it raised legitimate concerns that far-right elements, in A.C.I. elements, were gaining political influence after the overthrow of President Yannick Kovic, Yannick Kovic. Now at the time, this was presented as a serious issue with reporting on. And it wasn't put forward as Russian propaganda, but it has been since 2023, 2022. It's been, if you talk about this, basically you're a propagandist, you must be supporting the Russians. I mean, I'm just giving you this story, and I'm trying to lay out what the BBC said, and then comparing contrast to what the BBC is saying. So I don't think that's propaganda. I mean, that is making a very good case that these people are hypocrites, basically. Bloody hypocrites. And this, yeah, since 2022. So yeah, since Russia's full-scale invasion, Western governments, media institutions, including the BBC have largely downplayed or ignored Ukraine's ongoing glorification because they've been doing this. They do it brazenly, they do it openly. They take photos with government officials from United States, from the UK. They all stand around and they're all taking a big photo. And on the back, on the big banner, there's all of this branding, the Bandera NAZI, it's just appalling. How could they do that? It's just awful. So monuments to Bandera, streets that are literally named after them, official commemorations, they continue in parts of Ukraine today. Western support has been framed almost entirely as a moral cause. This is a moral cause. You know, we're going to be there. What do they say? We're going to be there forever, basically. We'll be with you, too, forever. And that's basically what they've been saying. So pretty appalling sort of hypocrisy, that's a good, and yeah, criticism of these issues now is routine labeled as Russian disinformation even though the same concerns were openly discussed by Western outlets, just like the BBC in 2014. Clearly, this is a double standard. The problem was real enough to report on when it was politically convenient, but it became inconvenient to mention once the West committed to arming and supporting directly Ukraine. Now, why this matters? Well, it matters because our selective hour, the West, our selective memory, damages our credibility. When this sort of stuff is exposed, we look like utter hypocrites. And in my view, we are. That's why I'm doing this episode. We are bloody hypocrites, and it's disgusting. And it is absolutely disgusting, in my opinion. So the glorification, we're basically glorifying Banderra, a literal N-A-Z-I, and what that's actually developed into since World War II, because it's just gone, it's kept on the far right with politics. It is crazy town. And we've been like, yeah, that sounds good to us. It's just wrong, it's just wrong team. Especially because we've said that's bad. We don't agree with that. That's not in line with Western morals. And then we just flip, and we just flip because of convenience, right? Yeah, so the bottom line team, BBC itself, reported in 2014 on this major right wing problem. The toxic legacy of Stefan Banderra. But yeah, we're just flip-plopped. It was like a matter of convenience. And it's shameful. So shame on the BBC. And shame on Western media, the rest of it, for just picking up those stories and running with them without question. I'm sure the media had the ability to just do a quick search and go, oh, shit, the BBC have actually called them out as N-A-Z-I's. And now they're saying it's all good. In fact, they're saying if you call them N-A-Z-I's, you're a propagandist. So yeah, there's a lot of people that need to be held accountable for double standards and hypocrisy.
