back in this episode of Dave Talks Politics. This one here is a cracker, rushes maximum position, total capitulation, or total conquest. So this is, it's gonna be quite shocking this one. If you're on Team West, it'll be shocking, I imagine. So yeah, if you're new to the channel, subscribe to the channel and click the little bell icon to be notified about new episodes when they drop. Putin's threat to take all of Ukraine. So it's just recent. Yesterday, Russia has now shifted to a maximum position. Vladimir Putin, damn you Putin, has made clear that if Ukraine refuses to accept Russian terms, Moscow is prepared to continue the war until it controls entire country. It's no longer framed as limited territorial adjustments. Russia is presenting Ukraine with a stark choice. You either accept unconditional surrender on Moscow's terms or you face the gradual military conquest of the remaining Ukrainian territory. That threat is deliberate by stating that Russia is willing to take everything. Moscow is basically trying to break Ukraine, Ukrainian and West and political will. So break the will of Ukraine, break the will of the West. Now, Russia's strategy of prolonged attrition team. That's what they are good at, attrition will for you. Russia is not in a hurry, that's the problem. We keep on saying, you know, Russia is running out of this fighting with back in 2022. They will literally argue in this European Union. They will literally argue that Russia had run out of chips for their missiles. And go back and search, it's literally on the record. Russian military is taking chips from dishwashers and refrigerators to fix their military hardware because there are no semiconductors anymore. Russia's industry is in tatters. They had run out of weapons, so the soldiers and the trenches were using shovels to fight hand-to-hand combat. I swear to God, this is literally what we were saying in Team West. We were saying Russia's done for back in 2022. It's 2016, they're not done for, that's stronger than ever. No, I'm not good at it. I'm not good at it. I'm not good at it, I'm not good at it. I'm not good at it, I'm not good at it. So, by continuing the war of attrition, Russia forces Ukraine and its Western backers to expand enormous resources, money, weapons, political capital, and manpower, while Russia's economy is adapted to the sanctions and its military production has scaled up. Now, this approach allows Russia to degrade NATO stockpiles as exactly what they've done. We're out of PAK-3 surface-aware missiles interceptors, patriots. And PAK-2s are useless anyway, but we've run out of those two. So, exhaust Western political patients. Weakened Ukraine's remaining military and demographic strength of as many years, at least several years, unlike the West, which faces elections, budgets constrained, it's got a very different political cycle and public fatigue. They've managed that quite well so far, but yeah, propaganda has managed that extremely well. You know different, because you're listening to this. Russia views this as a long-term strategic contest that it can sustain. It can sustain this for decades, and it will, if it needs to. The economic and strategic value of the territory at stake is unbelievable. If Russia achieves its maximum goals, Ukraine no guarantee it will, but if it achieves its maximum goals, Ukraine would lose far more than just land. The territory from Kharkiv through Donbass, Zappozaya, Kiosom, down to Odessa, represents the economic heartland of Ukraine. This region contains one, the majority of Ukraine's pre-war industrial capacity, two critical agricultural lands, some of the best land on planet Earth. The soil is just beautiful, soft, black, amazing soil. It's just incredible. Major ports, especially Odessa, that is a major port. They lose that, bugged. Energy, infrastructure, and mineral resources. If you go look at some of the maps that show where all of the key metals are, and minerals throughout the country, they're in the area that Russia has already taken basically. There's a few more spots that are kind of over the neeper. They'll probably take those as well, if they're to be believed in terms of this latest statement from Putin. Conservative estimates put the annual economic output of this territory at roughly $110 billion. So each year, 110 billion just in this territory. Over a 30-year horizon, we're talking 1.8 trillion of economic value, just from the activity that's generated in that area. Now, losing this territory would not only destroy the economy, but would also leave it as a small, landlocked heavily-indicted state with very limited prospects for its recovery. Ukraine's remaining territory would struggle to generate enough revenue to service its existing debt, let alone rebuild. And the R&F, if they brought into the European Union before this capitulation occurs, is that debt would be born by the European Union. So watch out, Europe don't be stupid. Just keep your ideology to one side, be pragmatic for God's sake. Our Russia could design surrender terms to maximise damage to the West. Now, I'm going through this. This is hypothetical, right? But I'm going through this just to help us understand what's at stake here. If Ukraine is forced into capitulation, Russia is expected to impose terms specifically designed to weaken its main adversaries. These could include Germany, Russia can demand that Germany accept long-term energy dependence on Russian gas and LNG, effectively reversing the sanctions policy. Additional clauses could require Germany to limit its military support for Eastern Europe and accept restrictions on German arms exports to NATO's eastern flank. Now, that would cripple their strategic options, I think, in my opinion. But it would at least give them their domestic economy back. But it would cripple them. I mean, it would be a slap in the face and it would basically give a lot of strategic advantage back to Russia. The United Kingdom and France, so Moscow could insist on formal recognition that the UK and France be a responsibility for prolonging the war, mainly because Boris went to 2022. I think it was February. He went to Istanbul to Istanbul. He went to Turkey, basically. And he forced Ukraine to tear up that actually counter-signed way, initially at least, a deal. They actually had a deal in place. The paper has been circulated. You can see it. There have been officials that have tested that. Yes, the paper was witnessed. A deal was in place. And Boris turned up and basically forced them to tear that thing up, made a whole bunch of promises that didn't come true. And forced Ukraine to tear up a deal that was just like, there are only like a few weeks in. Millions could have been saved. And Boris, and on behalf of the UK establishment, and by proxy, the European Union and NATO, it turned up and forced them to rip that thing up. So this could be used to justify. It's basically going to put that on the table. But Russians will put that on the table and say, look, this is your mess. You caused this. You could have signed this. You could have not gotten away of this. And we would have had all this mess. So this is all on you. And that's a position that they probably will take. Now, how much leverage have they got to axiom to force that through? I don't know. But it could be used to justify demands for compensation, restrictions on their military presence in Eastern Europe, political humiliation through forced acceptance of Russian territorial gains. They haven't got a choice now, because those are actually part of the Russian constitution. And they will defend those to the death. I mean, Russia. They will defend those gains that don't bias basically. They will defend that to the death. I'm quite sure of it. Our Baltic states, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. So Russia could demand the permanent neutralization of the Baltic states, put limits on NATO forces on their territory and restrictions on their military cooperation with the rest of NATO. This would leave them extremely vulnerable. I'd say extremely vulnerable. They'll be neutral states at that point. They'll be relying on the goodwill of Russia, not to squash them. I don't know why Russia would want to, but there's nothing again from rolling boots into there. The Nordic states, especially Finland and Sweden, who are major shits deris. I'm just thinking of the way, but it's like, we'll just keep it simple. Yeah, basically. Russia could demand that Finland roll back its NATO integration and accept limits on foreign troops and weapons and any systems that are near the Russian border, which is aimed at basically unwinding Finland's recent ascension to NATO. So basically, they just tell them to wind that back. These terms would be designed not just to secure Russian gas sales and to secure the gains of territory that they've made in Ukraine, but to weaken NATO's cohesion and military posture in Europe for years to come. So yeah, the bottom line team. So that's all hypothesis. I don't know the probability of that, but I'm just giving us an example of how dangerous this is right now for NATO and Team West. It is a cock-up. No, it is a major cock-up bottom line. Russia's now threatening to conquer all of Ukraine. Our least key for accepts unconditional surrender on Moscow's terms. The process is expected to take years. Russia has got plenty of time and they can attrip that's what they're good at. The territory at stake is worth well over 1.2 trillion. Justin, the economic value that can be derived from the land, let alone valuing the land is many, many more times that. But just the economic prosperity from that land is 1.2 trillion. So if Russia succeeds in forcing capitulation, it is likely to design the serrated terms. I agree. I think this is the case. It will probably do it in such a way that it's intended to damage Germany, the UK, France, Baltic states, the Nordic states through energy dependence, maybe France, France here. I think France. Italy, Spain, you probably get a free ride. Greece, you might get a free ride as well. But the others, they're in for military restrictions, energy dependence and political humiliation. I think that's what's in the queue for these states. It wouldn't just be a defeat for Ukraine, but it would be a strategic reversal for much of Europe. And you could argue that the main damage that's actually occurred, you already, is the US walk back from NATO. I mean, I think NATO is already done. We're just not talking about, we're free to talk about it. But basically, I think NATO is over as a project. I think it's going to be very, very hard to wind that back up. It is being wound down right now. NATO is done. We're just living a very different world geopolitically in my view team. So look, I hope you've enjoyed today's show. I've been an interesting one, talking about Europe. I do think it's a major cluster. I don't think they're going to. The hubris are so pronounced. It's so strong right now. They're just so full of themselves. They just think they're invincible when really they're not. Russia is no joke. They are no joke. Look at what America's done. They're like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. They're just back out of this gently. So yeah, look, I hope you've enjoyed the show today. We're a viewer team. I hope you're having a great day. Cheers. Bye.
